Overview Steni is a village that has one of the friendliest locals. The inhabitants have remained very traditional while still grow their fruit and vegetables in their own gardens. The atmosphere that dwells with in the village is a relaxed and they pursue a laid back lifestyle.

Services There is only one coffee shop in Steni. Stroumbi is only five minutes away where one can find amenities such as supermarket, restaurants, cafes etc.

Activities Sight seeing is extremely popular in Steni. There are ancient building to be visited dating back to 16^th century. Walking in the village proves favourable as the locals are eager to greet visitors and even welcome them in their homes for a coffee.

Natural environment The water from the river that crosses the community had been for the old years the best gift to the residents. The soil is fertile and greenery is visible through out the village. There is a unique mountain backdrop around the village which offers a mesmerizing view.

Historical sites The old watermill next to the river that crosses the community dates back to the 16th century. The monastery of Virgin Mary of Chrysolakournas built during the 12th century is also an interesting historic sight. The church of Steni is dedicated to Agios Tryfonas that according to tradition is the protector of the animals and crops. The church burnt down due to forgotten burning candles and was rebuilt by the locals with the help of craftsmen.
