The Yeroskipou Beach is located approximately 3km east of the Paphos harbour. This beach is k known to be one of the most popular beaches in Paphos.

The beach has a privately owed green area where lush grass is covered by sun beds. One would need to pay a small amount for the use of the sun beds. There is also a section where volley ball can be played. It is on the beach sand and major tournaments are often played at this beach.

The beach also has a privately owned bar with refreshments and snacks. This comes in handy after baking in the sun, refreshing oneself with an ice cold beverage. Children also benefit with the variety of ice cream and snacks sold. The prices are extremely reasonable.

At the bar there are also board games as well as card games. The comfortable couches prove favourable or all those that would like to participate in games offered. The games are free of charge.

There are powerful speakers situated on the beach with music entertaining all the visitors. For those that seek silence, further down towards the water the music can not be heard.

There is also a Luna Park a few meters away were children will be entertained for hours. There are rides and games for all ages. Most games require a 20c coin and some 50c. at the Luna Park there is a café were snacks are made as well as beverages offered. Most parents will sit in this area while the children go wild. There is also a mini park where children are entertained by swings, slides, jungle gyms etc.

On the each one will find a restaurant. This restaurant has tables both inside and out in the cool breeze. Dress code is casual and there is a children's menu available. This restaurant is also popular for weddings and often brides and grooms are seen on the beach posing for that perfect photo.

The beach itself is a pebbled beach offer clear and clean blue waters. There is a shallow are that is similar to a baby pool but much larger. Children of three can stand in the water and not be covered by the depth. It is advisable to always insure children that can not swim must wear arm bands are floating devices. Needless to say as this area is shallow the water is warm and is similar to a warm bath. There is also a deep side where adults can swim to their hearts content. Life guards are positioned on the beach for the public safety.

It is no wonder that this beach offering all these amenities was awarded the international ‘Blue Flag' award.
